Jan Luca Steiner

As Project Manager Community & Ecosystem, Jan Luca Steiner is expanding the Board Academy community and its associated ecosystem. In this role, he is responsible for the Board Academy commissions, for event, network, and seminar formats, as well as for addressing and supporting sponsorship partners, and manages their targeted positioning through integrated marketing, PR, and social media.

Jan previously worked in the political and international arena: As a policy and communications advisor in the German Bundestag, he advised members of parliament on strategic communications and provided analyses for complex political decision-making processes.

He then spent three years as a project manager at the Munich Security Conference (MSC), where he helped organize high-level international conferences and worked closely with representatives from politics, business, and international organizations.

Jan brings extensive experience in project management, stakeholder management, strategic communication, and working with complex, solution-oriented, and diverse networks from business, politics, and society.

He is particularly well-versed and well-connected in the areas of cybersecurity, the defense industry, NGOs, institutions, and politics. Among other things, he held a marketing and sales position at SSH Communications Security. He also worked as a freelance communications consultant and, among other things, supported regional association work.
